Registered Osteopath, Registered Naturopath

A graduate of the British College of Osteopathic Medicine Michael has worked for nearly 30 years in private practice treating people of all ages from the very young to the elderly with many types of problems affecting the musculoskeletal system. He also treats babies and young children and women in pregnancy. As a former ballet dancer he also has an interest in treating performers.

Depending on the needs of the client he may use soft tissue massage and gentle craniosacral work along with more structural work mobilisation and manipulation – as required. As well as “hands on” work he also works with clients to improve their posture and can recommend simple exercises that can be carried out easily in their daily life. If there are recurring issues he will work with the client to discover the underlying habits that may be perpetuating the problem. With his naturopathic training he can also advise on the use of hydrotherapy (the therapeutic application of hot and cold water) and diet to improve health.
